Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Dearborn Edsel Ford High School. As a part of our vibrant community, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the health, performance, and success of our student-athletes.

About Dearborn Edsel Ford High School:

Edsel Ford High School is located in Dearborn, Michigan. An MHSAA Class A school, Edsel Ford competes in the Downriver League. The Edsel Ford Thunderbirds field roughly 24 athletic teams and has approximately 700 student athletes. The athletic trainer's primary responsibilities will be at Edsel Ford High School; however, additional hours outside of the school for Henry Ford Health may be assigned. The athletic trainer will effectively communicate with HFH sports medicine staff and the team physician to coordinate medical care for the EFHS Athletics community.

What You'll Do:

• Provide athletic training services to our athletes at Dearborn Edsel Ford High School.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Dearborn Edsel Ford High School to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
