How you will contribute:

As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for providing materials, equipment, and fabricated products and services that meet or exceed both internal/external customer requirements; performing preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery; maintaining orderly storage of materials, and inventory levels; along with communicating regularly with field and office employees on projects. You will order material through internal purchasing software. You will utilize high attention to detail while entering supplies needed into our purchasing application. Work hours may vary based on project schedule requirements so the ability to work overtime as necessary.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will make the most of your education and previous warehouse and/or management experience. A high school diploma is required and two to five years of previous warehouse and management experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous experience using purchasing/inventory software. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record;While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and/or sit. The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms; andlift and/or move up to 50 pluspounds. A Commercial Motor Vehicle license will be needed after employment. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating superior organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
