The Regional Sales Manager for Druck will be responsible for selling our product line of Pressure Sensors, Test, and Calibration Equipment. The individual will drive sales growth, expand market presence, and establish long-term customer relationships within the territory. This role focuses on selling high-quality sensing, testing, and calibration equipment used across industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, electronics, and research. The Sales Representative will work closely with engineers, purchasing teams, and decision-makers to identify needs, present solutions, and close sales.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

Sales Development and Strategy:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to grow revenue for sensing and test & calibration equipment.
  • Building a robust pipeline of sales opportunities and consistently meet or exceeding sales targets.

Product Expertise and Solution Selling:

  • Conducting in-depth consultations with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product capabilities and value proposition.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to products, pricing, and delivery.
  • Following up with existing customers to ensure continued satisfaction, uncover new sales opportunities, and ensure repeat business.

Market Expansion and Lead Generation:

  • Continuously identifying new market opportunities and customer segments for sensing and calibration equipment.
  • Using various sales channels (cold calling, networking, trade shows, and industry events) to generate leads and increase sales.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecasting sales activity.
  • Reporting on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities to the sales manager or senior leadership.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborating with internal technical and support teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure that sales materials, presentations, and promotional activities align with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Coordinating with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Trade Shows and Networking:

  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers and communicate the latest product advancements to build brand awareness and promote products.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (preferred: Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field)
  • Have 3+ years of sales experience (ideally in test and measurement equipment, sensing technologies (preferred: pressure sensing)
  • Have a good understanding of sensing and test equipment, such as temperature, pressure, flow, vibration sensors, calibration tools, and related technologies.
  • Have a proven track record of success in a Business-to-Business sales environment, with experience selling to industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or research.
  • Have an understanding of regional business practices and customer needs and the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical decision-makers.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of technical solutions clearly.
  • Possess great negotiation and closing skills and know how to navigate and hunt for new opportunities.
  • Have proficiency in using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and sales reporting tools.
  • Have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
  • Be self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment.
