Position Summary The Graduate Hourly position provides a unique opportunity for a UIC graduate student to gain valuable experience working on a limited term (1 year) project focused on developing career exploration pathways for Swift iOS development. This role will handle lab/tech management for the Everyone Can Create porgram delivery. This position is a member of the project team with Apple (partner) and UIC Innovation based out of the Innovation Center. The job will require in person staffing of a newly developed lab space as well as holding regular office hours for program participants. Duties & Responsibilities Support the development and execution of Sandbox@UIC synchronous and asynchronous programming. Work with Sandbox@UIC project team to develop and deliver programmatic outcomes. Provide outreach support, including recruiting students, publicizing programs and activities to campus and public constituencies, and working with/assisting with event management. Assist with tracking program/project data and deliver regular updates and recommendations to leadership team. Perform other related duties and assist with special tasks as assigned. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Candidate must be a full-time, degree-seeking student in a UIC graduate program. Ability to work 20 hours per week. Strong interest in program development, outreach, and event coordination. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the willingness to learn and adapt accordingly. Excellent interpersonal skills and an interest to develop working relationships with campus groups. Proven ability to organize and provide accurate, detail-oriented work.
