Job Title: Manager of Analytics

What you'll do: As a Manager of Reporting and Analytics you'll be responsible for leading the organization's data reporting and analytics. This role will oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced reporting solutions and analytics frameworks that provide key business insights supporting short-term and long-term business objectives. You'll lead a team of analysts and managers and collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure that data initiatives align with business goals. Your key responsibilities will include upholding data integrity, developing and enhancing analytics across the enterprise in collaboration with IT, including data optimization and automation, presenting actionable insights to senior leaders.
Define and execute the overall reporting and analytics strategy. Oversee the development of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for key stakeholders. Establish and maintain data governance policies and practices in collaboration with IT to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all reporting outputs. Promote the use of standardized data definitions and metrics across the organization to ensure consistency in reporting. Act as a key business partner to senior leadership, helping to translate business goals into KPIs and data and reporting initiatives. Present findings and recommendations on KPIs, simplifying complex data insights to drive business action. Lead large-scale analytics projects within budget and resource allowance. Executes data strategies with a focus on scalability, optimization, and automation. Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product, to ensure alignment of data initiatives and reporting needs. Lead and oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing team of analysts. Monitor team workload, prioritize project completion, set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members. Interpret legal documents to model compliance tests, waterfalls and borrowing base calculations to create innovative solutions based on understanding of client needs.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of related experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience and knowledge of data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Intermediate to advanced experience presenting findings from large, complex, datasets and proposing solutions or business recommendations in a clear, actionable way.
- Proven experience in developing reporting frameworks, automating reporting processes, and delivering data-driven insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
