Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

What you'll do: The Sales Support Specialist provides support to the Small Business Banker by servicing various banking clients and assisting in the resolution of customer issues. You'll partner with Small Business Bankers to ensure problems are resolved to the satisfaction of our customers. Additional responsibilities include assisting with account analysis, service charge waivers, e-deposit, and ACH renewals, and are responsible for several reports that are completed for executive management.
- Support management and team with pipeline and prospect management within CRM. Provides daily guidance to the department in the areas of deposits and account servicing. Work directly with customers on issues and help resolve issues pertaining to their accounts.
- Provides excellent customer service and represents the bank in a professional and responsible manner.
- Adheres to compliance, security, state and Federal regulations, bank policies, procedures, and goals.
- Gather information pertaining to loan package and coordinate submission to the underwriting and document teams. May accompany Relationship Managers on customer calls and interviews to obtain an understanding of the business relationship/loan request as a means to aiding the Relationship Manager in developing strategies to meet the needs of the customer most effectively.
- Provides research on loan and deposit accounts as needed. Complete E-Deposit and ACH renewals. May assist in setting up new accounts.
What you'll need:
- 2+ years of related experience or similar field.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Entry level to intermediate knowledge of various word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Entry level to intermediate customer service experience.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
