Description

Acara solutions is looking for a Senior Process Plant Electrical Engineer to work for our partner located in The Woodlands, TX who specializes in engineering.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $60/hr
Hours: 8am- 5pm
Duration: Contract-to-hire

Here's what you'd do:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and schematics for process gas plants. Experience with ASU, LNG, and CO equipment is desirable but not necessary.
  • Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and plant layouts using 2D/3D CAD software and EPLAN
  • Review equipment supplier drawings and provide comments. Work with civil, mechanical and instrumentation group to coordinate design interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA), and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize designs for performance, cost, and constructability.
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and calibration of instrumentation systems.
  • Oversee, assign work and mentor less experienced designers
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical design using 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
  • Associates degree electrical technology / electrical design or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel including internationally for short-term assignments, as needed.
