Print Shop Operator

The Print Shop Operator operates bindery and small offset press equipment to produce high-quality work within required time frames. Performs cutting, folding, addressing functions, etc. Produces simple single and multi-color small press jobs. Performs pre-press functions for small press. Performs routine maintenance and adjustments on bindery and printing machinery.

• Six (6) months of bindery experience.
• Ability to transport materials.

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications:

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

1) Operates all bindery equipment.

2) Operates small presses.

3) Performs basic small press stripping and plate making.

4) Performs routine machine maintenance.

5) Plans assigned jobs effectively to maximize production and operates equipment efficiently to minimize product costs.

6) Performs basic large press operation.
