Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer ScienceJob Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Technology Business Consultant Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to work individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements. Serve as liaison between end-users and consultants during consulting projects. Expertly research and document client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications. Define product scope, objectives, and requirements. Define specifications and data models for product development and testing. Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyze marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc. Analyze system impacts to other systems and procedures. Devise and/or modify processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve most complex technical problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Assess available technologies and recommends solutions to consulting team. Write test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained. Conduct a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests. Test client data to make sure certain client needs will be met. Influence clients, business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection. Consults directly with clients and may travel to client site. Act as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects leading sub-plans or small projects. Mentor, guide, advise and/or check work of less experienced business systems analysts and technology business consultants. Play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems, or procedures. Training may be delivered one-on-one as knowledge transfer or in a classroom setting depending on number in audience and client preference. Serve as pre-sales support specialist when needed. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: creating and maintaining cloud services architecture, design, and implementation; working with systems networks including Virtual Nets, Subnets, Gateways, Bastions, DNS, and Peering for multiple applications; performing operating systems administration for user creation, firewall configuration, storage mounting, file permissions, machine users or service accounts, package installation, and upgrades; implementing docker container solutions, secret management, load balancing, scalability, high-availability, and continuous delivery; and writing scripts to automate deployment of code, installation, and software configuration. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
