Job Description We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach UNSY 318- Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Robotics. Course Description Integrating robotic technology into the hardware and software regimes of uncrewed aviation. Examinations of control and system programming in the context of specific missions through guided discussions, simulation and the operation of actual uncrewed aircraft robotic systems. Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases. If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications. This includes, but is not limited to, official transcripts, copies of professional licenses/certifications, documentation of military experience, and/or verified professional industry related experience. Desired Professional Training or Experience Experience at a Military / Civilian organization operating unmanned aviation systems. Active membership in professional organizations in engineering, i.e., National Academy of Engineering, National Society of Professional Engineers, Aircraft Designer, Robotics, Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, or other field related to the development, testing, operation, training, integration, or maintenance hardware and software systems of UASs or robotic systems related to UAS operations. Applicable Professional Certification Rated Military Flight Officer or FAA Certified Airman or any professional certification related to unmanned aerial systems operations.
