About This Role
This position serves as part of the administrative support team within the office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and is tasked to provide general administrative support to several units within the organization. The incumbent assists with support and coordination of programs and events sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management to include but not limited to Strategic Enrollment Planning Teams, Student Appeals Committees, and External Engagements. This support and program coordination includes scheduling, note-taking, creating agendas, project management, organizing technology needs, event planning and catering. This position provides overall office management supervision and functions as a liaison to Enrollment Management leadership. Strong office management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects with appropriate prioritization are critical. The incumbent must possess strong attention to detail, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, dependability, flexibility and strong decision-making skills. This position is expected to provide consistent support with an eye to process improvement.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing high-level administrative support, support for special projects and confidential work
- Experience completing tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Background using innovative thinking, facilitation and consensus-building skills
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Office 365 software applications. Experience with audio and videoconferencing programs and applications
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with on- and off-campus partners
- University or academic experience with knowledge of Kansas State University
- Demonstrated dependability and customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to draft correspondence and reports and to review and revise written materials for accuracy and professional results
- Ability to organize, prioritize and proceed on own initiative
- Ability to understand, interpret and implement policy and procedures and to problem solve effectively
- Ability to work with a broad range of clients and to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to use critical thinking to analyze and interpret data and information
- Ability to determine deadlines, set priorities and meet established timelines
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion
- Ability to analyze and improve existing on-site procedures for functionality
- Discretion in handling confidential information and materials
- Familiarity with learning management systems and online registration systems
Other Requirements:
- Notary within six months of employment
