About the Team

We work with various Derivative Exchanges, Clearing Brokers and FIS teams supporting the front to back trade lifecycle, from post trade execution through to settlement.We form partnerships with our client's oversight & control groups, trading desks and client services to ensure our contractual commitments are executed and completed in adherence to our Standard Operating Procedures, Risk & Control Framework and Service Level Agreements.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Managed Service Operations Analyst, you'll be challenged to help continuously improve the day-to-day services provided, the control environment and the overall client experience. We strongly encourage and support a 'we challenge' mindset.

  • Monitor first notice, last trading dates, exercise & assignments, deliveries, open interest, and other lifecycle events to ensure both client and exchange are congruent, operating in compliance with the regulatory landscape.
  • Forge excellent working relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate and communicate technical issues with client services, trade management, IT, business change, and external clients to ensure trade flows are strategically robust in accordance with exchange regulations.
  • May oversee a functional group in day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
  • May assist in personnel management, planning, and strategy, representing FIS' Capital Markets Segment to internal and external audiences as a senior member of the team.
  • May navigate complex and relevant challenges within the derivatives trading, middle-office, and post-trade spaces, by continuously analyzing and seeking solutions for clients' dynamic needs.
  • May involve rotating 3rd shift and occasional weekend work.

What You Bring

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, finance, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Typically, 2 or more years of experience in financial institution operations or asset management, preferably with derivatives or trading.
  • Understanding of OTC cleared products, futures/finance trading, as well as average price and allocation procedures.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements around client margining and trade allocations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook and Excel).
  • Advanced troubleshooting, critical thinking, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Capable of working effectively in a high-pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of FIS and industry standard applications is a plus.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $31.46 - $51.28 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
