Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Storeroom and Receiving Attendant for the

beautiful Interlocken Hotel & Spa. Located between Denver and Boulder, the Omni Interlocken features

an award-winning golf course, Spa, and gorgeous mountain views!

The Storeroom & Receiving Attendant will work directly with the Director of Purchasing and other hotel leaders to provide the acquisition of food, beverage and non-perishable purchases at maximum economics based on business activity, acting as a liaison between the hotel and supplier representatives in the procurement of goods and services required to achieve the objectives of each department.

Salary range for this position (based on experience): $22.00/hour. Omni Interlocken reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race. Responsibilities

* Coordinate and monitor work performed by Storeroom Associates, specifically Food and Beverage requirements according to forecasted menus.

* Attend all Food and Beverage and related meetings such as menu tie-down, weekly forecast and Financial Services.

* Maintain close communications with Chef and Catering Department on requirements for future menu events to evaluate menus against Par Inventories in determining necessary requirements for outlets and banquet functions.

* Achieve a better knowledge and understanding of the Purchasing process and applications such as: product familiarity, receiving and storage standards. EOM reconciliation of Food and Beverage, EOM Accounts Payable closing.

* Interact with other departments to ensure that guest needs are satisfied.

* Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of all areas in the purchasing department. Ex (Back Hallways, Loading dock, Storeroom, Liquor cage etc.)

* Responsible for all month end inventories.

* Maintain a flexible schedule at all times because the hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

* Work daily with Accounts Payable to ensure Birchstreet is accurate and up-to-date.

* Manage weekly bid process to ensure the best prices are being obtained on frequently purchased items.

* Communicate and coordinate with leaders on proper procedures when receiving all package

* Champion and drive the Power of One/Omni culture.

* Keep all unauthorized persons "off premises". Check requestions for proper authorization.

* Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storeroom.



Qualifications

    Must be able and willing to stand for 8-10 hours each shift
  • Must be able and willing to lift up to 50lbs, regularly, and push 100lb+ carts
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must have flexibilty in work schedule to include weekends, holidays and early mornings.
  • Must be 18yrs or older.
