EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT 1 Department of Military Army National Guard Division Nashville, TN Salary: $5,050.00 - $7,570.00 per month Closing Date: 05/06/2025

This position is eligible to work 10% remotely from home.

Job Overview:

Responsible for interpretation and enforcement of policy and methods in administering Tennessee Army National Guard Antiterrorism Program. This position develops, implements, manages, and monitors a comprehensive program, including but not limited to budget, policies and guidance, plans, assessments, training, exercises, program reviews and assigning responsibilities for executing subordinate Anti-terrorism Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and dissemination of AT plans, SOPs, guidance and mandatory standards for protecting TNARNG personnel, information, critical resources, key assets and critical infrastructure from acts of terrorism.
  • Development and dissemination of AT specific Risk Assessments for special events, mobilizations, assets, facilities, and installations.
  • Development of emergent Threat Assessments for special events, mobilization, assets, facilities, and installations.
  • Coordination of quarterly training exercises.
  • Develop and disseminate state-wide RAM Procedures and guidance.
  • Conducting annual AT program reviews and assessment of subordinate AT programs. Monitoring AT resource management and AT funding recommendations based on identified capability gaps.
  • Track compliance for AT Level I-IV and Security Engineering courses by TNARNG personnel.
  • Ensure AT training is incorporated into unit training plans and pre-mobilization threat briefs.
  • Assist in preparation and management of a Threat Working Group, Anti-Terrorism Working Group and Protection Executive Counsil.
  • Conduct AT review of military construction projects in coordination with the State ATO and TNARNG CFMO.
  • Coordination with Federal, State, Local and military entities to develop, update and support the TNARNG and recommend sharing of critical resources.
  • Developing, coordinating, executing, and evaluating TNNG Emergency Drills (Fire, Shelter in place, Lockdown Active Shooter/Aggressor and Bomb Threat with the State Anit-Terrorism Officer and Emergency MGT Program Coordinator / Security Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred working experience in data analytics and assessments encompassing vulnerability and resource allocation.
  • Experience using web-based information sharing applications. (Example: MS Teams, MS Office, etc)
  • Experience in briefing to audiences using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal skills.
  • At least a DoD Secret Security Clearance or obtain within one year of being hired.
  • Must submit to and pass an initial background check (Tennessee Bureau of Investigation).
  • Must not be wanted by federal, state, local or other civilian law enforcement authorities.
  • Must not possess felony convictions for espionage, sabotage, treason, terrorism or murder.
  • Must not been convicted of firearms or explosive violations within the past 10 years nor convicted of sexual assault, armed robbery, rape, child molestation, production or possession of child pornography, trafficking in humans, drug possession with the intent to sell or distribute or knowingly and willingly engaged in acts or activities designed to overthrow the U.S. government by force. All other crimes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must be able to work in the event of state emergency response. (Normal work hours are M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
  • Must be able to travel overnight for training, Anti-Terrorism events, and inspections. (Lodging and per diem is provided). Must possess a valid State Driver's License.
