We have an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer II at our McBee, SC facility. This position will be responsible for various job duties, including but not limited to:

Primary Function

This position will coordinate improvements and changes to manufacturing processes and procedures in the industrial plant to establish the best methods of work. This position will constantly evaluate processes and procedures of the production process to identify areas for improvement. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze manufacturing processes by utilizing industrial engineering tools and techniques.
  • Conduct various industrial engineering studies and analyses, including manpower forecasts, capacity analysis, and resource leveling.
  • Support the manufacturing department by addressing issues related to processes, equipment, tooling, and design.
  • Improving manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring product quality.
  • Assist in implementing and utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • Study and analyze variations in critical manufacturing processes.
  • Integrate new technologies and equipment into manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate, develop, propose, and implement projects to ensure the facility meets the company's current and future needs.
  • Resolve problems by applying innovative techniques, technologies, or concepts.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager in support of Manufacturing Operations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of two years of work experience or training
  • Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other Continuous Improvement
  • Methodologies
  • Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
