The Construction Specialist II provides field oversight of construction activities involving Chesapeake Utilities natural gas Distribution pipeline system. The difference between this job and other Construction Specialist is due to the complexity and project size responsibilities. The role ensures that all subject facilities conform to Company policies and standards as well as all appropriate federal, state, and local code requirements. The role oversees and monitors work performance by company contractors; completes reports while reviewing records and documentation; makes recommendations for corrective actions when necessary and appropriate in the course of business and ensures safety and environmental compliance on job site. This job focusses on natural gas distribution projects at all ranges of complexity and budget level. What you'll be working on...
