Cloud Application Engineer(remote)

Product Development (60%):
1.) Hands on Full stack development

2.) Develop POC (Proof of Concepts) work for business requirements

3.)Provides engineering consulting and recommendations for all new Cloud systems to ensure the interoperability and adherence to Multiplan technology standards and policies of all systems
4.) Serves as lead for cloud group projects as well as internal IT and business driven initiatives
5.) Builds, develops, and manages technical solutions on Cloud
6.) Defines and monitors multiple project priorities and provides technical and administrative supervision; ensures appropriate management is apprised of operational status of projects
7.) Provides appropriate cloud resources for business applications; performs capacity planning, workload modeling/prediction, and purchasing recommendations for new cloud solutions; provides business applications enough resources for their short-term and long-term growth
8.) Documents all projects deployed and ensures cross-training to team members is completed

Technical Support (40%):

9.) Experience provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud computing services such as Azure and AWS
10.) Serves as local expert on Azure Active Directory and manages additions, changes or deletions to the tree structure and group policies as necessitated by the business environment
11.) Engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies
12.) Understanding the needs for new initiatives to build scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions on Azure and AWS
13.) Collaborating with solutions architects
14.) Performing system administration tasks including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible
15.) Installing configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and servers in public cloud environments
16.) Performing operating system and software application installation, patching, and upgrades
17.) Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
18.) Provides a current, well-managed operating environment for production processing and application development
19.) Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution
20.) Provides support on all systems to meet departmental Service Level Agreements
21.) Provides support for business continuity by ensuring daily backup schedules are completed and provides cloud or on-site support for annual disaster recovery test
