Full-time, 40 Hours/Week Day Shift Onsite Summary: The Director Grants serves as liaison with Hospital Administrative staff in the development of Hospital projects that are priorities for the Foundation's philanthropic fundraising efforts.Responsibilities: 1.Adds value as a key member of management; understands the business, financials, industry, customers and strategy.2.Supervises employees, provides direction, coaches, trains and develops, and manages performance to company goals and expectations. 3.Prepares, manages, and adheres to department budget to maintain expenditure controls. 4.Seeks resources that improve the quality of a project/proposal by helping to shape project ideas, goals and objectives outcome based evaluations, comprehensive budgeting, and planning for program sustainability. 5.Serves as liaison with potential funding organizations. 6.Directs activities of Grants Administration Division of the Foundation including supervision of the Coordinator of Corporate Relations and Grants Coordinator. 7.Develops strategies to cultivate and maintain relationships between fund seeking and recipient organizations and funders. 8.Manages current Hospital grant funding including developing grant budgets. 9.Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise 1. Experience in grant writing is required; experience working with government entities is preferred 2. Experience in nonprofit programming development is preferred. 3. Travel is required for this position. 4. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required. 5. Experience in healthcare is preferred. 6. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. [COMPANY-, FUNCTION-SPECIFIC] software is required/preferred. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred Certification CFRE preferred Minimum 5 years of experience Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience Full Time FTE: 1.000000 |
