| Job Summary |
The Auburn Applied Research Institute, located in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a motivated and versatile student assistant to help with various tasks associated with our summer events. This position will be full-time for the summer term only. |
| Essential Functions |
- Preparing and executing event setups. Ensuring venues are clean, organized, and equipped with the required furniture, and equipment according to event plans.
- Must be able to lift and move banquet tables as needed.
- Job requires walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
- Coordination of conference marketing materials, exhibit coordination and week of support for Space and Missile Defense Symposium (must be available on site for conference August 4-7, 2025).
- Perform general office duties, such as responding to emails and helping prepare materials for events or campaigns.
- Work with website designers to update information on the website for ARI.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.
Expectations:
- Must provide excellent customer service.
- Due to access to restricted areas in the Applied Research Institute, all applicants must have high levels of integrity and professionalism and be a US Citizen.
- Must have housing in Huntsville, Alabama.
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Must be a team player and willing to help where needed with any project that comes up.
