Position Summary The faculty and staff of the University of New Mexico College of Nursing welcome you to a tradition of excellence in research, education, service, and clinical practice. We represent the very best in quality and innovation within an academic environment. Our focus for the tenure track is building robust programs of research. The University of New Mexico, College of Nursing is seeking applicants for a Tenure/Tenure Track Associate Professor or Professor. The successful applicant will be an outstanding independent scholar with experience in health policy, as demonstrated by extramural funding, implemented policies and white papers and publications in peer-reviewed journals. The College of Nursing offers a PhD Health Policy Concentration. The concentration is an established, fifteen-year program at UNM College of Nursing. The incumbent will play a key role in continuing to grow this concentration. The College welcomes applicants interested in working with stakeholders from multidisciplinary health care, policy, and other academic areas. This position promotes an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach to public health, scholarly work, policy engagement and leadership in local, state, and federal government levels to enhance health. UNM Nursing Research Pillars The University of New Mexico College of Nursing The University of New Mexico College of Nursing, located in Albuquerque, NM, ranks in the top 15% of nursing programs in the country. With over 1,000 enrolled students, the college offers pre- and post-licensure baccalaureate, master's, post-master's, and doctoral programs.
