As a Principal Scientist, Team Leader - US Biological Mass Spectrometry, Proteomics you will join GSK's Discovery Biology organization and play a leadership role within the Biological Mass Spectrometry group at our US R&D Hub in Upper Providence, Pennsylvania. The Biological MS group uses world-class expertise coupled with state-of-the-art technologies to explore target biology, discover and profile new molecules, and understand the impact of these molecules in living systems. A successful applicant will have in depth practical and theoretical knowledge of mass spectrometry and its applications to cell biology, chemical biology, and drug pharmacology. This person should have a demonstrated ability to think creatively to answer complex scientific questions. In addition, the successful applicant will have an interpersonal skillset suited to leading a team and working in an interdisciplinary matrix environment. This position requires outstanding leadership, communication, and people skills coupled with a strong strategic mindset.
