The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) is home to nationally recognized programs focused on health and wellness - and a respected faculty dedicated to teaching innovations and research partnerships. The college offers accredited programs in athletic training, communication sciences and disorders, physical therapy, and social work. CHPS also offers one of UCF's largest majors, health sciences, as well as popular programs in sport and exercise science within the field of kinesiology. Through coursework, field experience, and interprofessional education, our students develop high-demand skills in healthcare and community-based initiatives for working with varied populations.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) is seeking well-qualified candidates for a Travel & Procurement Coordinator II position. The Travel & Procurement Coordinator serves as a member of the college's Finance Business Center team and will support faculty and staff within the college with financial transactions. The Travel & Procurement Coordinator provides great customer service and support, confirms compliance with university fiscal policy and uniform guidance, and ensures costs are captured correctly for financial reporting.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with university fiscal policy and uniform guidance depending on the financial transaction.

  • Manage purchase orders, expense authorizations, invoice receipts, and invoice payments.

  • Initiate requisitions and support the college with purchases

  • Verify, review, and reconcile procurement card transactions to ensure compliance with university policy and regulations.

  • Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related issues in the college.

  • Receive and process incoming travel requests.

  • Review expense reports for policy adherence.

  • Ensure that reimbursement complies with university policies and uniform guidance.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and (2+) years of relevant experience or a combination of relevant comparable education and experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Higher Education Experience.

  • Understanding of GAAP.

  • Understanding of Uniform Guidance and University Fiscal Policy.

  • Strong Compliance Background.
