Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for an Audiovisual and Concierge Support Technician to join our team in our Seattle office. This is an essential position that will require five day in-office.
This position is responsible for providing client service-minded support for the firm's audiovisual technology and dedicated spaces. This includes maintaining and coordinating equipment, maintaining familiarity with various meeting platforms, assisting with room setup/tear down efforts, and providing assistance as needed to ensure meetings, webinars, virtual trials and produced events are a success. This position is also responsible for maintaining various supplies, communicating with vendors and clients and providing additional assistance when needed in other areas such as with our concierge team. Customer service is key; you must have the ability and enthusiasm to work independently as well as in a team environment with attorneys and other staff members.

On a typical day you will:
  • Assist with testing audio and visual components, such as, displays, microphones, cameras, and confirming conferencing systems are functioning properly. Assist with providing technical assistance during meetings and presentations
  • Assist with meeting setups primarily in the Seattle and occasionally the Bellevue offices through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual (AV)/network equipment
  • Obtain proficiency in providing assistance with the firm's desktop video platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and WebEx
  • Communicate with meeting organizers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of meeting needs and requirements; provide advice and recommend alternate options as needed in order to optimize service levels to all customers
  • Partner with attorneys, internal and external support staff, and clients to support virtual trial audio video needs
  • Provide DWT AV services such as recording and video editing as requested
  • Obtain proficiency of all hardware and applications supported
  • Assist with maintaining, coordinating, and set up of check-out equipment for use in conference rooms in the Seattle office ensuring equipment is up-to-date and in working condition
  • Greet clients and all guest warmly, making them feel welcome and invited
  • Provide real-time support for meetings on all office floors, connect with meeting organizers to ensure accuracy of requests, and set-up or break down meeting rooms as needed
  • Assist visiting attorneys and staff with requests such as obtaining secretarial support, car services, messenger services, and scheduling onsite & offsite office or event space
  • Maintain visitor and shared or hoteling office space, conference rooms, and meeting space to ensure they are clean, appropriately stocked and prepared for use
  • Monitor team mailbox and chat-based workspace to respond to emails, calendaring needs, and office correspondence in a timely manner
  • Secure rooms for meetings and conferences by using online scheduling software and follow up with the meeting organizers to establish best practices and capture lessons learned through surveys and anecdotal data
  • Provide backup and overflow support to onsite meeting needs including scanning, copying, answering phones and drafting documents as needed
  • Assist with other special projects, tasks, and/or support as assigned
Join us if you have:
  • 1+ years' experience in providing audio video technology support or related experience preferred
  • GED/High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and troubleshooting skills required
  • A strong attention to detail and quality control required
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, composed manner; ability to quickly assess situations and adjust your approach according. Maintain a resourceful client-service attitude at all times
  • Ability to maintain a positive, collegiate, and professional relationship with attorneys and staff
  • Familiarity with conference calls, video conferences, webcasts, web-based seminars, PowerPoint presentations, etc. preferred
  • Ability to work non-business hours to support early morning, evening, or weekend conferences/meetings as necessary, including occasional off-site AV setups required
  • Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
  • Ability to understand and follow directions, work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond to requests with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships and communicate verbally, and, in writing in a professional, courteous manner with clients, firm members, and other business contacts. Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Resource Scheduler or other room reservation software is a plus

Washington State
The annualized salary range for this position in Washington is $58,000 to $66,000 ($29.74-$33.85 hourly). Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, telemedicine and virtual short term solution based counseling services, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, subsidized backup care and caregiving resources, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 11 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit is 15 days per year and 11 days of sick leave per year, accrued bi-weekly. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
