*Description*
Our client is looking to add a Commercial Service Technician with strong fire experience to their team as they continue to grow their footprint in MD. The Technician will receive their service call schedule a week in advance and typically see an average of 4 tickets per day. Calls range in time, some could be an hour, some could last a day or two. All equipment will be shipped to the Technician's house so they can transport as needed to customer sites. The Technician will be given the use of a company vehicle. Our client works primarily with Silent Knight and Potter equipment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also have Security experience including troubleshooting and problem solving on various alarm panels. Our client works primarily with Alarm.com, DMP, DSC, Alexor, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys, Bosch, Honeywell, Concord, and Vista equipment. Experience with motion sensors, door locks, glass breaks, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors is a plus. *Top Skills Details* 1) 5 years of experience in the commercial fire and security field specific to service of equipment including Pole Stations, Horns, Strobes, Access Control, Hardwire CCTV and Wireless CCTV cameras, low volt cables, locks, motion sensors, etc. 2) Ability to communicate with others including internal management, end client project management teams, customers, and technical support teams. 3) Must be able to problem solve, provide customer service, and have a level of installation knowledge so they can replace easy fix hardware issues. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
