Overview

The Technology Operations Senior Analyst provides mentorship and escalations from Technology Operations Analysts and works to resolve more complex Tier 3 issues. Sr. Analysts provide support for all technologies, continually builds their IT skillset, and provides customer service to staff for IT related issues. Sr Analyst identifies process improvements and leverage light scripting or automation work to simplify or eliminate work across IT Operations. Sr Analysts often collaborate with IT leaders, and Tier 4 product teams to streamline support. Sr Technology Operations Analysts represent the IT team in cross-functional project teams.

This is a 2nd Shift, onsite, role. Shift is 12:30pm -11:00pm, working varied days, plus occasional weekend shifts. Great Shift Differential for Evenings and Weekends!

Responsibilities

    Lead resolution of Incidents and Tasks, including identifying and escalating complex customer Incident and Tasks.
  • Provides mentorship and escalation help to Technology Operations analysts. Engages with Lead TechOps Analysts for mentorship and escalation assistance.
  • Participates in medium/large projects to assist in technical implementation or troubleshooting for net new or expanding efforts at the hospital. IT Project work is typically complex and detailed.
  • Identifies process improvements to drive optimization and simplification in how we support the hospital.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, and 5-7 years' experience in Technical support or related roles preferred. Light scripting and automation experience highly preferred. OR
  • High School diploma, or equivalent, and 7 or more years' experience. Experience in customer support and/or Technical Support. Light scripting and automation experience highly preferred.
    • ITIL Foundations Preferred
    • CompTIA Network+ Preferred
    • CompTIA Server+ Preferred
    • MCSA or CCNA or equivalent Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $34.21/hr, but your salaried offer will be determined based upon your education and experience.



Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
