POSITION SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and
    efficiency
  • Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility
  • Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer
    specifications
  • Follow cGMP procedures
  • Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation
  • Set up and operate a variety of machines
  • Demonstrate commitment to Rockline/Iatric's RRITE Values of Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence
  • Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in
    carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Motivation for continuous learning
  • Ability to openly embrace change


PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (The physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • Ability to stand during 12.5-hours shifts with regular breaks
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 37 pounds
  • Repetitive arm/hand movement
  • Frequent bending, twisting and reaching

  • 100% of work will be performed indoors
  • Although the facility is climate-controlled, the temperature will fluctuate slightly with changes in the seasons.
  • Hearing protection may be required in designated areas of the facility
