Overview
Are you interested in becoming a Warehouse Contractor at Shure? At our Wheeling Distribution Center, we're frequently on the lookout for skilled reliable contractor support. While this is not a current job opening, you can apply for future contract positions in our warehouse. Plesae note these roles would be temporary or temp to hire through our agency partner. We offer three shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Our work week runs from Monday through Friday. As a Warehouse contractor, your role will involve verifying and counting materials accurately, as well as packing and labeling to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities
Package and prepare domestic or international customer orders, prioritizing truck, air, and/or pickup shipments per delivery or consolidated shipping list.
Label items manually and utilize tools such as box-cutters, pallet jacks, and tape guns to open, move, and close boxes safely. Navigate the Receiving and Distribution Center to pick the correct parts/products needed for client orders. Learn and utilize SAP S4/HANA for virtual packing of materials within Hupast and/or Processweaver.Stack completed cartons on pallets in a manner suitable for shipment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to carry out general warehouse duties with the capability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to learn and adhere to company policies and procedures pertinent to assigned tasks. Capacity to follow established procedures for routine work, requiring detailed instructions only for new assignments. Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours on occasion.

PAY TRANSPARENCY Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The hourly rate for these contract opportunities can range from $18-20/hr. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity.
