Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Lead NextJS Full Stack Developer to join our team.

Job Location: Rochester, NY

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Next.js (SSR, SSG, API Routes, Dynamic Routing).

* Strong proficiency in React and modern front-end development.

* Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

* Experience with HTML5, CSS3

* Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL

* Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).

* Familiarity with Node.js for full-stack integration.

* Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

* Expertise in web performance optimization (lazy loading, code splitting).

* Proficiency in responsive design techniques

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

* Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

* Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library.

The annual salary for this position is between $121,000.00 - $135,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
