Position Summary: As our Production Manager, you are responsible for the leadership of production to provide satisfaction to our customers and meet operational goals for the business, focusing on Company Key Performance Indicators. The production manager reports directly to the Value Stream Manager. Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years in operations management highly preferred
- at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role required
- bachelor's degree in electrical preferred
- Computer proficiency with strong excel skills - MS Office and office mgt software
- Create, update and maintain graphs and charts
- Excellent organizational skills as well as multi-taking skills with attention to detail
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a work environment.

- Oversee the production floor and the positions directly impacting production, such as assemblers, team captains and leads.
- Lead the team and provide feedback, discipline, actions as necessary
- track time and attendance for production floor, and manage schedules
- Development and execution of production plans to meet or exceed both the company and their customer's targets.
- Work closely with all functions of the business such as Estimator, Stock Room, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Document Control, Testers, Quality, and Production Leads. Provide guidance and direction for the individuals from these functions assigned to support the value stream. (Awareness QMS AS9100)
- Take Steps to smooth the flow of steady work to the team and assure maximum productivity
- Drive accountability for daily performance reporting and problem-solving of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety/productivity/quality/delivery/cost/growth/daily blockers (plan, do check, and act)
- Champion kaizen events with a focus on continuous improvement and productivity initiatives; Support lean initiatives by leading/facilitating kaizen events
- Direct, hands-on leadership of the value stream, enabling or working with the team to overcome daily blockers.
- Develop relationships and collaborate between departments and sites to fully utilize resources and expertise
- Review and make recommendations on policies and procedures to maximize teams' productivity
- Communicate status of projects with customers proactively
- Represent the company and value stream, providing value stream specific knowledge during customer or other external visits
- Develop to reach their maximum potential and build a highly skilled, highly regarded, and highly motivated customer-focused team
- Maintain a fully capable department and react when gaps exist
- Lead with, and instill, a sense of ownership and accountability
- Promote and maintain an innovative culture
- This position requires entrepreneurial spirit in directing a cross-functional team
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and training employees, directing work, and performance appraisal

Pay Transparency: Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 annually.
