Job Title: Production Support Analyst
Location: Columbus, Ohio Employment Type: Contract to Hire Workplace Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) Hourly Compensation: $40-$45 per hour Compensation Range Upon Conversion: $70,000-$75,000 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Production Support Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting 30 applications and ensuring optimal performance and usability for various system users. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve application issues, provide root cause analysis, and recommend improvements. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance. * Work closely with team members and independently to resolve issues. * Respond to user requests and incident tickets requiring application-level intervention. * Monitor team ticket queue and email inbox, resolving issues promptly. * Develop and maintain accurate technical and user documentation. * Troubleshoot minor and major system issues, escalating to vendors when necessary. * Collect and provide reporting on application health and usage metrics. * Collaborate with team members, vendors, system/database administrators, and end users to resolve issues. * Participate in periodic meetings and maintain all applications for production, planning appropriate strategies. * Quickly assess situations to determine impacts. * Perform operational tasks, including monitoring logs and job statuses to confirm successful completion. Skills and Qualifications: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail. * Proficiency in reading and writing SQL queries. * Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace (building dashboards) for monitoring application and database servers. * Ability to navigate Windows Servers and IIS configurations. * Competence in reading and navigating application and system log files. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
