As a Security Professional - Shopping Plaza in San Mateo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting tenants and visitors with inquiries, and maintaining open communication. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Working as part of a team, you will contribute to a positive environment and act with integrity in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions depending on the location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and potential disturbances within the property.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Guard Card required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
