Sargento is looking for a high-potential Sales Planning Analyst to join our Foodservice & Ingredients (FSI) Business Unit. This entry-level, developmental role is part of our evolving Sales organization and is designed to support strategic growth through data-driven insights, strategy optimization, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
The position includes structured training and broad exposure to Sales, Marketing, and Finance, providing a strong foundation for future developmental and leadership opportunities across the organization.

What You Do.



  • Analyze industry trends, customer sales performance, and promotional effectiveness using tools such as Circana, SAP, and Excel.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to inform sales planning decisions.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting processes and tools to improve visibility into business performance.
  • Review historical sales data and account plans to build a foundational understanding of customer needs and business drivers.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to the sales team based on performance and trend analysis.
  • Support NCBMs and customer relationships through onboarding, data entry, and customer-specific updates.
  • Assist in executing initiatives such as pricing updates, product transitions, and business reviews.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, ensuring accurate system setup and support.
  • Contribute to team and customer-facing meetings with relevant insights and updates.
  • Work across departments to support strategy development, pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Coordinate timely, accurate responses to customer requests by engaging relevant internal partners.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and business reviews to enhance planning and execution.
  • Collaborate across departments and business units to support integrated sales planning, execution, and knowledge sharing. This role will play a key part in aligning efforts between internal teams and the Business Units to drive overall business performance
  • May be required to travel up to 25%
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills & Abilities



  • Possess effective prioritization skills, Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and IRI/Circana tools is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret and act on business data and performance trends.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive, self-starting attitude.


Your Education and Experience.



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an analytical, customer-facing, or cross-functional business role
