Position Location:

This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.

Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of

their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference

will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Major Accountabilities / Your Key Responsibilities:

This role will define and execute data strategy that supports all data requirements of the US Sandoz organization. This role will be focused on how the data is obtained, what gaps exist that warrant additional acquisitions of data, and how the data is being leveraged as inputs to the analyses and reports created across the organizations to ultimately provide the needed insights to the franchises.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Develop an overall data strategy (including data delivery, storage, integration framework, and supporting data architecture needs) and usage/acquisition approach across the organization

  • Oversee the management and monitoring of data procurement and contracts with external data providers

  • Manage the data inventory to make sure it is procured and ingested efficiently, that it meets franchise needs and is accessible to customers

  • Identify and establish processes for evaluating and optimizing data sources, driving cross-functional and cross-franchise efficiencies

  • Proactively monitor the execution of the data strategy and performance of data-related services; triages and addresses strategic issues related to data/systems

  • Managing daily operations, continuous improvement, integration / deployment of new capabilities, demand, and budget management

  • Identifying, building & expanding enabling application / platforms / data capabilities to create a competitive edge in the marketplace, in alignment with the objectives of the organization

  • Driving end-to-end commercial processes through the IT / GCC landscape and ensuring proper integration between the data warehouse, MDM, CRM and Sales Ops systems

Ability to develop and execute high-level strategies for data strategy, aligning project goals

with overall business objectives while driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Project & Portfolio Management Expertise:

Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery.

  • Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Strong ability to professionally engage, influence, and align diverse stakeholders, including executives, marketing, engineering, sales, and supply chain teams, to ensure smooth launch execution.

  • Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:

Expertise in streamlining workflows, optimizing resource allocation, and leveraging data-driven

decision-making to improve efficiency and scalability of launch processes.

  • Change Management & Problem-Solving:

Ability to navigate complex challenges, drive innovation, and adapt to evolving market

conditions with interpersonal effectiveness while ensuring teams remain agile and responsive to

shifting priorities.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, science, engineering or related discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data strategy and data usage within a generics / pharmaceutical company

  • Minimum 4 years generics / pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data sources, requirements, and uses

  • Proven experience managing data providers/vendors

  • Familiarity with advanced data management, BI tools, cloud and data lake principles

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situation and processes and effectively integrating and synthesizing the data to form a complete cohesive picture

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information to develop recommendations, and ability to persuade / influence organization pursuit of recommended path

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a technical field

Travel Requirements: 10%

We also follow a hybrid work policy that combines a mix of in-person and remote work to allow our employees flexibility.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $176,400 - 252,000 - 327,600 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
