*Job Description: *
* Counsel student loan borrowers to resolve delinquent accounts. * Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls. * Adhere to federal regulations, corporate objectives, and department policies. * Start under the Default Guarantor Portfolio, focusing on borrowers from before 2010. * Make outbound calls using a dialer, with increasing call volume, especially on the direct side. * Educate borrowers on their loans, particularly after the payment pause ends in September. * Manage call volumes ranging from 40 to hundreds per week. * Begin with outbound calls and receive training on inbound calls. *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. * Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (verified via typing test). * High School diploma or GED. *Work from Home Schedule:* * Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of a later start and end time after training, finishing no later than 7 PM. * *Must live in Dane, Columbia, Sauk, Rock, and Dodge counties.* *Virtual Training:* * Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. * Must be able to come onsite the first day. Candidates are then sent home to set up around lunchtime and complete training online.
