Financial Analyst, Commercial FP&A

Overview

The Financial Analyst contributes to the growth and capabilities of the overall FP&A team. Works directly with the Commercial team and Corporate FP&A counter parts to execute all business and project activities. Supports critical analysis across all assigned functions.

Responsibility


  • Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.


  • Support FP&A ad hoc analysis, scenario planning, and continuous improvement efforts.


  • Conduct enterprise cost analysis and assess enterprise profitability.


  • Complete and distribute monthly management reports.


  • Assist management in developing financial models and analyses to support, measure, and monitor strategic initiatives.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.


  • 2+ years of experience in FP&A roles.


  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and concise way of explaining complex data sets and analysis.


  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with attention to detail.


  • Demonstrated ability to structure problems, analyze data, and convert to actionable insights.


  • Ability to multi-task and execute special projects as they arise.


  • Experience working with ERP and BI software with Essbase-Smartview experience (QlikView, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) preferred.

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
