- Develop platform monitoring tools using tools for comprehensive application performance insights, incorporating autoscaling features to achieve zero resource wastage and downtime.
- Drive the automation of secure cloud infrastructure, optimizing Compute, Networking, Database, and Kubernetes cluster deployments, with Terraform or similar technology, and ensuring robust security measures like SSL auto-renewal and proxy authentication.
- Analyze and interpret Network as Code use cases, such as device location insights and user registrations, leveraging a gRPC server or similar for log collection from runtime operations, and employing analytical tools and dashboards for in-depth analysis.
- Manage the full lifecycle of analytics deployment on AWS EKS or other cloud platforms from code integration to database connectivity, using tools like Django, Helm charts, Terraform and other respective cloud technologies for efficient cloud-native application management.
- Integrate DevOps principles into data migration processes, automating data conversion using AWS Lambda functions or similar technologies.
- Accountable for quality and accuracy of own output. Responsible for contribution to teamwork.
- Carries out tasks/activities according to assignment and set guidelines. Demonstrates initiative and adaptability to changing business environments. #LI-DNI
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted up to 60%. Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Skills required:
- Cloud services: AWS, GCP, and AZURE;
- Infrastructure code tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation; CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab;
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes; Observability tools: Big Query, QuickSight, Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry;
- Automate infrastructure deployment and orchestrate containerized applications.
