The position has on site hybrid or remote options. JOB SUMMARY: Manage the creation of fully compliant cost/business proposals in response to government solicitations. The individual must work with teams consisting of employees from many departments within STGi and from other companies to develop strategies, prices, and proposals to identify pricing elements and collect relevant information. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for and performs all pricing related activities to include the development and production of cost/business proposals in response to government solicitations Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that all departmental and organizational objectives are achieved Reads and analyzes government solicitations for business proposal requirements Recommends pricing strategies for meeting the solicitation requirements Establishes and monitors schedules and deadlines for all cost/business proposal related activities Maintains and updates cost models in Microsoft Excel to calculate direct costs, indirect costs, other direct costs and overall price Performs compensation analysis for employees and independent contractors using current corporate data and third party salary surveys Tracks competitor pricing to determine trends and pricing methods Validates and establishes budgets of awarded contract pricing information Submits cost/business proposals for contract modifications in response to new or changing customer requirements Business development capture duties as assigned Other duties as required by business conditions or as assigned Required Skills Proficiency with Office 365 with demonstrated proficiency in Excel Professional writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information Ability to handle multiple tasks and small projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of computerized office systems, internet and software is required Required Experience 5+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience with T&M, Cost Plus, & Fixed Price pricing strategies and methodologies 5-8 years of experience in government contracting REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree DISCLAIMER The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
