As part of North America Commercial Risk, you will help empower results for our clients by leading Aon's broking efforts specific to M&A and Private Equity. Key to the role is collaboration with the M&A Transaction Advisory Services team and the various broking practices to deliver cost effective and market leading insurance solutions.

What the day will look like
  • Collaborate with M&A Transaction Advisory Services team to drive due diligence conversion across all applicable insurance products, but with clear focus on Property & Casualty, Financial Lines and Cyber. In addition, the leader will be expected to collaborate with the Transaction Solutions CBO.
  • Work with P&C, FSG and Cyber broking leaders to enhance current and build net new portfolio solutions for Private Equity firms.
  • Employ technology-based solutions to support producers and account executives in delivering additional products and services to Private Equity clients.
  • Align with M&A broking leaders across the globe to ensure consistent delivery of solutions for global Private Equity firms.
  • Work closely with internal counterparts in other Practice Groups to align initiatives with our clients and trading partners.
  • Manage commission level opportunities and work with Aon leadership on commission grid compliance; drive strategy forward and measure on a quarterly basis
  • Support and help implement Global CBO (Cynthia Beveridge) strategy and initiatives
  • Work with finance and other internal broking leaders monthly to ensure all revenue reports are completed on a timely basis.
  • Drive efficiencies in broking process focused on quality assurance and E&O management
  • Implement sales and growth strategies aligning with Sales & Growth and Data Leaders
  • Track and support accounts in jeopardy; work with AE leaders on plans to ringfence issues
  • Lead insurer relations and strategy; support Aon Inpoint on all key relationships; set quarterly meetings with top 10 insurers
  • Support training initiatives, client events, and symposiums
  • Drive adherence to critical metrics including sustained financial performance in line with the 3x3 strategy, objectives and targets agreed with relevant team members
Innovation & Thought Leadership:
  • Work to continue to develop and enhance the competitive positioning of Aon
relative to its competitors
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the best of Aon is brought to clients and prospective clients
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Consistent track record of collaboration across Aon
  • Property and Casualty insurance technical proficiency. Broad knowledge of specialty insurance including property, casualty, cyber, E&O, financial lines, environmental, group captives and other.
  • Strategic and analytical skills - attention to detail but able to draw conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) - ability to communicate well and at the appropriate level with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to develop relationships / build confidence of others (both internally and externally).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Results oriented.
  • Broker's license
  • 10+ years of insurance experience strongly preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $250,000 to $350,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
