Director, Brand & Demand Generation

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Brand and Demand Generation to lead and oversee our centralized brand and go-to-market function within the marketing team. This role will be responsible for defining and driving a consistent brand narrative and strategy, managing a centralized pursuit and content development function, and ensuring brand alignment across all marketing and business development efforts.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of brand strategy, content marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance brand equity and business growth.

What you will do:

Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, and business goals.

  • Oversee brand governance to ensure consistency in messaging, design, and tone across all channels and touchpoints.

  • Act as the brand steward, ensuring all external communications adhere to brand guidelines.

Content Development & Thought Leadership

  • Lead a centralized content development function to produce high-quality, engaging content that supports brand awareness, demand generation, and thought leadership.

  • Develop a content strategy that includes long-form, short-form, multimedia, and interactive content to support marketing campaigns, solution launches, and industry positioning.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to create compelling narratives and insights that differentiate the brand in the market.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including segment marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership, to align brand and content initiatives with business objectives.

  • Lead and mentor a team of brand and content professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.

  • Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize brand and content strategies, ensuring measurable impact on business outcomes.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 15+ years of experience in brand management, content marketing, or related fields within a corporate or agency setting.

  • Proven track record of building and managing a centralized brand and content function.

  • Strong understanding of brand storytelling, content strategy, and pursuit marketing.

  • Experience in leading high-performing teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
