We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon! Alcon is looking to hire a Cataract Equipment Manager to join our Surgical Sales Team. The Cataract Equipment Manager will work collaboratively with a Divisional team, consisting of a Cataract Account Manager, Surgical Consultant, Cataract Refractive Manager, and a Division Manager, to strategically drive Alcon's portfolio of capital equipment. Prioritizing the protection and growth of our core products, while further expanding our existing ecosystem of anchoring technologies with keen focus on Unity VCS/CS, Centurion, Revalia, and NGenuity into new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for selling a full portfolio of Anterior Cataract Surgery products which includes; Capital Equipment, Disposables, Accessories, andStand Aloneproducts.

  • Customer interactions includeHospital/ASC/Teaching Institutions/Managed Care/Buying Groups personnel (to include, O.R. staff, Purchasing, Administration, Biomed, Infection Control, Central Sterile and other departments who have decision making authority on the purchase and use of Alcon products).

  • Will lead the targeting and selling efforts for Centurion,Revalia&NGenuitysales within their assigned Division and will collaborate with their Divisional Team in utilizing assets towards sales success in these areas.

  • Responsible for the following: Lead generation, sales proposal development, management of product demo evaluations, as well as post sale equipment in-services.

  • Protect, secure and grow our consumable core business through equipment conversion and product /service/technology innovation.

  • Deliver value through customer's technical skill set, working with them to fully utilize and realize the capabilities of the Centurion andRevaliaplatforms.

  • Work with Division team member competencies, making certain that those accounts that have invested in our capital technology platforms are thriving and growing in their use of our technologies.

  • Will be technically, financially and strategically sound in equipment sales and integration, and be fully capable of working with commercial, technical, clinical apps, training and Finance personnel toinsurelong term success of our platform technologies.

What you will bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Location: Indianapolis or Cincinnati (Remote) - This territory includes Southwest Ohio, Northern KY, and Central Indiana. Ideal candidate lives in Cincinnati or Indianapolis.

Travel Requirements: 50%
