Work Hours: 8am-5 pm, M-F, Extra Hours as Needed and On-Call After-Hours Support Required

Position Summary: The Senior Java Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications while ensuring seamless integration with various platforms.

Position Responsibilities



  • Design, code, test, and deploy web applications using Java and JSF.
  • Create and manage WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for web applications and WordPress sites
  • Configure and integrate Power Platform applications to enhance business processes and workflows
  • Analyze technical requirements and architectural artifacts to develop robust solutions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with business goals
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities and configurations
  • Install assigned applications into all environments (PROD, TST, DEV).
  • Review all application patching from vendors for assigned applications and develop a regularly scheduled patch plan for each.
  • Create backup and restoration plans for assigned applications to include requirements for back up of applications and databases, storage requirements and periodic testing of restoration processes.
  • Ensure LCEC's security policies are adhered to within assigned applications and provide technical level and system administration level access to same.
  • Identify and report any security threats or breaches to the Information Security Team.
  • Provide strong support during restoration events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering (Required) or
  • Associate's degree in a related field + related work experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree (Required)


Experience



  • 5+ to 7 Years work experience as a full stack Java Developer utilizing Java and JSF.
  • 2+ to 5 Years prior Experience working in Oracle WebLogic, WordPress, Eclipse IDE, Java, JSF and Python platforms
  • Prior work experience with WordPress design, development, and support.
  • Prior work experience with MS Power Platform implementation and configuration.
  • Prior work experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
  • Prior work experience in system integration.
