POSITION DETAILS *Position Summary* The Shipper position is responsible for preparation and shipment of all outgoing product. Enters equipment information into appropriate management information systems/records and performs shipping functions for the facility. Prepare items to be shipped to both domestic and international locations and completes the required forms and documents Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies; submits Purchase Requests and orders supplies when needed Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives Determines method of shipment and prepares bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents. Examines shipment contents and compares with records, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Job Requirements: CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities* Read, write, speak and understand English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills, ability to multi-task. Excellent time management and organizational skills, detail oriented. Related experience required Process all shipments via UPS/FedEx/DHL (International shipping a Plus) Follow up on shipments if needed Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Email, Access. Prepare and execute all necessary paperwork involved within the shipping activities Capable of identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner Processes shipments per instructions on shipping documents Responsible to coordinate everyday Shipping Previous inbound and outbound shipping experience Previous filing and data entry experience. Must be able lift up to 25 lbs. Must be reliable Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour (+ Shift Differential $0.75 per hour, if applicable).
