Youth-Nex (the Center to Promote Effective Youth Development) at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for part-time research work. Those hired in the Research Specialist (Wage) position will complete research-related tasks, including but not limited to: assisting with cleaning data, helping with codebook development, assisting supervisor with tracking data collection, helping to pilot new materials, screening classroom video, attending team virtual meetings, other administrative tasks as assigned, and more. Requirements include:
Preference will be given to candidates with some coursework or experience in education or social science research, and with familiarity to Youth-Nex projects. Anticipated position compensation: $16.00 Hourly The application deadline is May 10, 2025. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Some coursework or experiences in college. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in education or social science research that is aligned with Youth-Nex projects/labs.
