Human Resources Business Partner - Huntington, IN

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our manufacturing operations by aligning HR practices with business objectives. As a strategic advisor and employee advocate, the HRBP will work closely with plant leadership to improve organizational performance, employee engagement, and workforce capability. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and experienced in the unique HR needs of a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for managers and employees within the plant.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support workforce effectiveness.
  • Partner with leadership to address workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to manage talent acquisition and onboarding for plant roles.
  • Lead or support HR initiatives such as employee engagement, communication and recognition programs.
  • Facilitate employee development, training, and coaching opportunities in collaboration with Safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Administer compensation, benefits and payroll support in coordination with corporate HR.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
