What We Do

Multi Asset Solutions Group (MAS) sits within Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management, offering customized portfolio solutions to institutional clients through investing across asset classes, regions and risk spectrum, in both public and private markets. As a front office quant team, MAS Analytics Strats build tools and systems to enable day-to-day management of $380bn client assets, generate analytics and insights to assist portfolio managers in portfolio construction and risk management, enhance client experience through our class-leading Investment Dashboard digital portal.

Who We Look For

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team and drive core initiatives to deliver our next-generation portfolio management tooling and analytics to scale up a fast-growing business. We are a fun, entrepreneurial team that love coding, investing, and turning our ideas into reality. We are looking for a quantitative developer who is intellectually curious, self-motivated, an independent problem solver but at the same time a collegial collaborator, and most importantly someone who goes above and beyond in achieving excellence.

Requirements



  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative fields, including but not limited to computer science, mathematics, engineering
  • Familiar with commonly used quantitative techniques, including but not limited to statistics, linear algebra, numerical analysis, calculus
  • Understanding financial markets. Working experience with a wide range of asset classes & financial instruments is a big plus
  • Experience in building software in production environments. Solid knowledge of programming languages, data structures and algorithms
  • Prior experience using open-source tools and frameworks is not required but nice to have. A desire to learn new technologies and have a passion for using technologies to solve real life problems
