Job Description

This is a remote position. Candidates must live in the following states to be considered: AL, CA, FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MA, MO, NC, NV, NY, OK, SC, TX, UT, WA

Overview of the Position:

The Data Specialist is responsible for collecting, managing, and interpreting data related to MRO RFP activity to develop a pricing repository tool to streamline our operations. Additionally, this role involves performing data entry functions to ensure the MRO team's operating system remains accurate and up to date.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Collect and organize data to support the development of a pricing repository tool for the MRO team.
  • Implement and maintain the pricing repository tool to enhance accessibility and usability for team members.
  • Perform regular data entry tasks to update and maintain the MRO team's operating system.
  • Verify and validate data accuracy to ensure consistency and reliability across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for data management and tool usage.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Proven experience in data collection, organization, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software (e.g. Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining data tools or repositories is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools or techniques.

Requirements

Education / Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or GED. Familiarity with MRO operations. Must have 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Is frequently required to talk or listen.
