The Maintenance Mechanic maintains building appearance and functionality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintains buildings, performing routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring.
  • Replaces air conditioner filters at scheduled intervals.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of the establishment.
  • Installs, programs and repairs automated equipment such as CNC equipment pumps, motors, etc.
  • Checks and replaces light bulbs as needed.
  • Empties trash and garbage containers.
  • Orders and replenishes supplies as required.
  • Performs handyman construction duties such as fabrication and repair of counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
  • Competency in the operation of power tools and basic woodworking machinery operation.
  • Notifies management of needed repairs or unusual noise/operation of equipment.
  • Duties such as electrical/mechanical assembly, and go/no-go testing may be performed as needed.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements
EDUCATION:


  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.



CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Has current or ability to obtain certifications to operate forklifts, JLG lifts, scissor lifts and other types of equipment.

EXPERIENCE:



  • At least one to two years of relevant experience.



SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES:



  • Language: Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic shop math
  • Reasoning Abilities: Ability to use cognitive reasoning



PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Team Member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
