Shipping & Receiving Associate - South Windsor, CT

JOB TITLE: Shipping & Receiving Associate

DEPARTMENT: Factory Support

REPORTS TO: Purchasing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Receive and ship product, pick/kit orders, cycle-count parts, pack product and data entry into ERP system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ship and receive product including RMAs
• Use UPS / FedEx / DHL portals to input data and process shipments
• Load / unload trucks and shipping containers
• Package products for shipment or secondary operations
• Storing Finished Goods in Stock
• Data entry into ERP system
• Pick and or kit orders for production
• Cycle-count Parts
• Pickup and deliver parts to suppliers
• Act as a material handler to deliver hardware to designated product lines on the production floor
• Routinely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Other tasks as assigned by Manager

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:

• High school diploma / GED required
• Must read / write English with good communication skills
• Shipping / receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Warehouse experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
• Experience with heavy metal material handling
• Experience with hand tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must
• Able to climb ladders
• Forklift / pallet jack operating experience a plus
• Attention to detail and accuracy necessary
• Strong computer skills
• Mechanical Aptitude a plus

This position requires a Pre-Employment Background Check, Driving Record Check, and Drug Screening

This position does require Safety Glasses for personal protective equipment.
