Fulfillment Specialist - Ballston Spa, NY

The Fulfilment Specialist position services as a Specialist for any team members working in the fulfillment area. This position drives processes to increase efficiency and quality of shipping procedures.

The Fulfillment Specialist position works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Typically requires 3- 5 years of related experience or may need 2 years' experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.

• Trained in basic operations of assembly and/or equipment necessary to perform the job assigned.
• Sets up and operates a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications
• Verifies goods packaged against package invoices.
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Documents inventory number and weight and organizes packages.
• May make minor repairs to packaging equipment as needed.
• May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• Monitors production and packaging/fulfillment schedules and works with the Manager to make changes as needed.
• Monitors quality while packaging.
• Assists with creating and revising SOP's
• Trains new employees.
• Monitors quality within the Packaging & Fulfillment depts.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Must be able to perform each assigned task at full competency, as recorded on his/her training record.
• Must be able to achieve production quotas set for the machine you are assigned to.
• Does not damage machines, tools or molds
• Ability to professionally communicate and work with others
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure
• Can do - positive attitude
