Responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients on inpatient psychiatric unit. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Essential Functions
-Conducting assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions.

-Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.

-Providing ongoing therapy services to patients, including but not limited to: running groups and proving individual sessions

.

-Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.

-Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans.

-Participating in professional development opportunities and staying up-to-date with advances in occupational therapy research and practice.

-Contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Education
Master's Degree Occupational Therapy required

Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred Occupational Therapist [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred

Experience
occupational therapist experience 3-5 years required experience in a mental health setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work effectively with patients and co-workers.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
