Summary
Responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients on inpatient psychiatric unit. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Conducting assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions. -Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals. -Providing ongoing therapy services to patients, including but not limited to: running groups and proving individual sessions . -Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes. -Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment plans. -Participating in professional development opportunities and staying up-to-date with advances in occupational therapy research and practice. -Contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives as needed.
